Dr. Julie Oryniak completed her Bachelor of Science, with a major in biochemistry, at the University of Winnipeg, before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine at The University of Manitoba. She enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in treating children. Dr. Oryniak is specially trained to administer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to children when necessary, making her an ideal family dentist for little ones who are anxious about visiting the clinic.
During her university education, Dr. Oryniak was presented with several awards, including the 3M ESPE Canada Student Clinical Award for excellence in clinical skills, primarily around composite restorations. She currently serves on the Manitoba Dental Association economics committee, and is furthering her dentistry expertise through continued education in the areas of endodontics and periodontics.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Oryniak enjoys spending time outdoors during the summers at Grand Beach and in the Kenora area, then heading to the ice for curling over the winter months. She also regularly teams up with her husband to take on renovation and redecorating projects around the house.
