Our Facility

To do the best work,
we work with the best tools.

We are passionate about staying on the forefront of dental technology, because that’s a key part of how we provide you with the highest level of dental care.

Every aspect of our facility has been thoughtfully considered, from comfortable surroundings to the very best in modern technology and practices. Our technology is regularly updated, because by putting the best tools in the hands of our doctors, hygienists, and lab technicians, we can provide the best care – and the best results – to you.

Digital X-rays
We use state-of-the-art digital X-rays to get a closer look at your teeth. These digital X-rays give off 65% less radiation than conventional X-rays, and produce more accurate images.

Our CBVT machine allows us to take panoramic and CT images that provide our doctors with the full picture, allowing for greater accuracy in both diagnosis and treatment.

Advanced scanning
We use a modern intra-oral scanning technology when developing tooth restorations, eliminating the need for messy and uncomfortable analog impressions.

Industry-leading sterilization and safety protocols
State-of-the-art sterilization equipment and above-standard protocols ensure that our tools and equipment are always impeccably clean, and your safety is never in question.

Spacious, comfortable rooms
Our large operatories are bright, roomy, and clean, and equipped with comfortable chairs. Most are fully private as well.

Youth hygiene room
Our youth hygiene room has Netflix and cable programming, expanded fluoride flavours, flavoured gloves, demonstration models, and toys. Learn more about our youth hygiene program and Children’s Dentistry specialists by visiting our Children’s Dentistry service page.

On Site Lab

State-of-the-art,
at arm’s reach.

Our on-site lab is a state-of-the-art space that allows for close collaboration, continuous learning, and the very best results for our patients.

We believe that staying on the leading edge of dental techniques and technology is the foundation of a vibrant dental practice. Our on-site laboratory, Enamel Dental Lab, is a rare luxury among dental clinics in Winnipeg – one that allows for close collaboration and consultation between our doctors, lab technicians, and patients. Our bright and modern facility features regularly upgraded technology, which means continuous learning and expanded creativity for our team and ultimately, the best results for you.

Collaboration and quality control
Our on-site lab allows for a close relationship of collaboration, and appreciation for each other’s skills and techniques, between our technicians and our doctors. It allows our technicians to meet with and get to know each patient, taking note of how the face and teeth appear and move while speaking, smiling, and laughing, so that restorations are created with each individual patient in mind rather than being fabricated from an anonymous mold. Under the dentist’s supervision, the clinical team, lab technician, and patient all consult together on the desired esthetics of restorations. This process allows patients to preview the final result and provide valuable input.

Customization
In most commercial labs, restorations are generally made through an assembly line process. In our on-site lab, restorations are custom-designed and created for each individual by our technicians, who have often met with the patient. This customization is achieved through attention to colour, shape, texture, contour, and placement – all matched to your natural teeth. Our technicians are given the time and resources necessary to design and create quality custom restorations that are unique for each patient.

The best technologies and materials
We are continually updating the technology, techniques, materials, and processes used in our lab for the fabrication of esthetic tooth restorations. Our unique technology draws on expertise from leading laboratories as far away as Stockholm to provide you with precision strength, fit, and esthetics. We use ceramics that capture and reflect light and have the same gleam, translucency, and optical properties of enamel to create the most natural-looking restorations.

We were among the first practices to use Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM) in the creation of ceramic crowns, bridges, and dental implants. Using this technology means a closer resemblance to the colour of a natural tooth on the inside of a restoration as well, resulting in a more natural-looking end result, along with the most consistent and accurate fit.
