We take your smile seriously.

Kids Care About Their Smiles

Good oral health habits early in your child's life will translate into conscientious oral health care throughout their adult years. Gum disease is often thought to be an adult problem, but children and teens are susceptible to it too. And of course, we all need to prevent cavities! Just like adults, kids want to look and feel good, so encourage your child to start now to ensure a bright smile for tomorrow!

Cosmetics & Orthodontics

School-aged children become increasingly aware of their appearance, and the smallest thing may be the cause of mild to severe self-consciousness. Is there anything about your child's smile that needs attention? Their next checkup appointment will present an ideal time for us to assess their smile and to discuss cosmetic or orthodontic options, both of which can do wonders to boost self esteem!

Bad Breath

While brushing is essential to ensure strong teeth for a lifetime, it also helps to prevent conditions that can be socially embarrassing, like bad breath. Kids tend to focus on the present, so the threat of cavities may not hold much weight when they're rushing out the door. Sometimes it's the social angle that prompts them to pay more attention to their smile.

Now is the time to teach your child good dental habits to ensure excellent dental health for many years to come!

Our Youth Hygiene Program

Our youth hygiene program provides excellence in preventive care for Winnipeg children.  In addition to regular peridontal maintenance, it's focus is to better educate children of Winnipeg on their oral health. This will include a review of flossing and brushing techniques as well as helpful hints focusing on cavity reduction.

Our youth hygiene rooms are more appealing to youth with flat screen TV's, expanded fluoride flavours, flavored gloves, demonstration models, as well as toys and cartoons to keep any siblings occupied.

One other advantage of the youth hygiene program is the simultaneous appointment timing we can offer along with our regular dental hygiene department. This convenience allows both parent and child to be seen during the same visit. Call our dental office for an appointment!

Kasie and Amanda who deliver the Winnipeg youth hygiene program look forward to seeing you and your children in the near future!
